Q: Are the items you sell new?

A: The items we sell are brand new and unused official releases supplied to us by record companies, unless stated otherwise in the listing.  Generally all items are sealed (this will be stated in the listing title).  Occasionally we may open an LP to confirm any colour variant. We sometimes sell used items, this will be shown in the listing.

 

Q: Are the items you sell in stock?

A: Most of the items we sell are in stock in Melbourne, Australia and are typically despatched within 24 hours (working days only, excludes public holidays) - these titles are listed "Fast & Free" next to Postage above.

(✝) some titles have an extended processing time, they will NOT show "Fast & Free" next to Postage above, they will NOT be despatched within 24 hours and the overall delivery time reflects this.

Occasionally we may offer pre-order titles and the estimated date when these will be in stock is shown in the listing.

We may change the handling time for operational reasons at any time (as such all items may not be despatched within 24 hours, check the delivery estimate provided by for when you can expect your order).

 

Q: How much is postage?

A: Unless otherwise stated postage to any Australian address is FREE for Australia Post's standard eParcel service, and this service includes online tracking. We also offer express shipping for a nominal charge - please note this does NOT guarantee next day delivery and delivery to certain regional/remote locations can take longer. Postage to non-Australian/overseas addresses is shown in the listing, please select your country to view the rates.

 

Q: I'm looking for a specific pressing - country, colour, cover, condition, release date, barcode, or other characteristics - is that what you are selling?

A: CONTACT US BEFORE PURCHASE - so we can check to ensure we have what you are looking for. Our products are sourced from Australia, USA, Europe, UK and elsewhere; unless otherwise stated the product may have come from any of these countries. Condition; unless otherwise noted our stock is brand new and generally sealed. Brand new product can occasionally show slight signs of handling. If you are seeking "mint" condition copies please contact us first so we can verify this for you. Picture discs - please note; due to their manufacturing process picture discs generally have poorer sound reproduction and can sometimes be warped. Note: bibliographic information may be displayed as we list using barcodes and/or artiist & title - this data may be wrong and we are not responsible for this. For example 's "release year" may not be the actual year of issue of the item listed. Barcodes please note: we may substitute an alternative source country for a release which may mean a different barcode to the one listed - the track listing and artwork will however be the same except barcode/label info etc. will be different. If you're after a specific barcode please contact us first to confirm.

 

Q: How can I pay for my order?

A: We accept payments by Paypal only. 

 

Q: What postage options do you have?

A: Within Australia all LPs and box sets are sent by Australia Post eParcel, this service is fully trackable (certain lower value items like CDs and 7"s records may not be sent with tracking).  We also offer express post, this option is available in the checkout.  Please note if you want your order sent by express post and buy more than 1 item you must choose express post for all items. 

All overseas orders are sent tracked and this tracking is usually visible on your local country's postal service's website around a week after despatch.

 

Q: Can I pick up my order?

A: YES. You can pickup your order from our store in Mont Albert North, VIC. We will provide the address once you have completed your order.

 

Q: Do you provide any discounts/postage discounts for multiple purchases?

A: Please check the product listing to determine whether any discounts are in effect for multiple purchases and any related conditions. In general discounts only apply when all items are placed in the checkout and bought at the same time, the same applies to postage for overseas orders. We will not refund any order when multiple items have been bought on separate checkouts either for multi-buy discount or for overseas postage.

 

Q: Do you use any special packaging to send LPs, 7"s and box sets?

A: We have our own custom designed LP mailers and these provide the highest level of protection during shipping.  We also place your LP in a plastic sleeve prior to packing to further protect it.  In addition we have our own custom designed 7" mailers and will send box sets and large orders in larger boxes with extra packing.

We also have a double box option which you can choose if you wish to purchase additional protection for your LP.  You can view this option here

 

Q: What does MOV mean in your listings?

A: MOV stands for Music On Vinyl, a reissues and new issue vinyl label. Please note MOV titles generally come in resealable sleeves, all are brand new and unplayed. We may remove the LPs from jacket/sleeves to prevent seam splits.

 

Q: What are the download codes that are included (if any are stated)?

A: PLEASE NOTE: if we are advised by suppliers that download codes are included with an LP or box set we will state this in the listing, however on occasions download codes are not provided or may be provided but may not work in Australia or in your country (if different). We are not responsible for supplying a working download code in the event one is missing or is included but does not work in your territory. We will do our best to make good in such circumstances but can not guarantee any useable card will be supplied.

 

Q: If there's a problem with my order when I receive it what can I do?

A: Please contact us as we are committed to your 100% satisfaction and will resolve any issue you may have.

PLEASE NOTE: our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours (1 business day) of receiving your enquiry. If you need to change your address once an order has been placed please notify us immediately - orders are typically processed within 1 business day of receipt (note some items have extended processing time as stated in the listing)

We use custom designed high quality LP, 7" and box set mailers to send your order. This minimises the chances of any damage in transit.

Australia: eParcel tracked postage is FREE.

Overseas: price is shown in the listing - please select your country to view the cost.

If you need your order by a certain date we recommend you use Express Post, however next day delivery within Australia is NOT guaranteed. NOTE: express post is not available on every item listed. You will need to place separate orders if you want express post on items to which express post applies and those that don't - contact us for further details if needed.

 

AUSTRALIA

For deliveries to Australian addresses you can track your order at the Australia Post tracking web site (your tracking number will be provided to you by email when your order is despatched). For overseas deliveries you can track your order on your local post offices web site (for most countries, does not apply to every country).

Express postage can be added to the items you buy where available (not every item has the express post option, see the listing for details), please select this option at checkout where available. You must select and pay for Express shipping on all items you want sent Express postage. Registered (or Pack & Track service) and Express Courier post is available for most items for other countries (outside Australia). Please note we will use a tracked service if you choose registered or pack & track unless you specifically request otherwise. We recommend you use one of these service if you are buying any items costing more than $75.

In Australia you can expect to receive your order typically within 3 to 4 working days from despatch in Melbourne and Sydney metro locations. Other areas will take longer, especially WA and regional locations. Overseas orders take between 10 to 21 business days from despatch. PLEASE NOTE: although these estimates are typical delays sometimes occur, per "Delivery time may vary, especially during peak periods".

If your order has not arrived within the time expected please check with your local post office to see if your order is being held there. Tracking is NOT available when purchasing single CDs/7" singles only.

 

OVERSEAS outside Australia:

"AusPost Air Mail Parcel" includes tracking (see below)

"AusPost Registered Post International Parcel" generally faster/more secure service than above, includes tracking (see below)

"AusPost Express Courier International" typically 1 week service worldwide after despatch (*), includes tracking (see below)

NOTE: when you buy 2 or more items postage on additional items is lower than the the cost for a single item. Add all items to your basket first and checkout in one go.

All overseas orders are sent with a tracking number however tracking is not generally available on the Australia Post web site but is usually available on your local country's post office's/delivery company's web site.

For example; - In the UK you can track your order on the Parcel Force web site - In the US you can track your order on the United States Postal Services web site

Check the tracking on your local country's postal service's web site with the tracking number we provide in the despatch confirmationn email (starting CI or LK).

In general you can expect your order to arrive within 's estimated delivery timeframe, however this is NOT guaranteed, as occasionally orders can be delayed and this is outside of our control. If delayed in most cases your order will arrive within 2 weeks after 's estimated timeframe. Please also check at your local post office or postal depot as your order may be held there. Actual delivery to Canada, Germany, Israel and Italy typically takes longer than 's estimates. We will NOT lodge an enquiry with Australia Post for any delayed items until 6 weeks after despatch of your order.

If you select "Aus Post Registered" service this will either be sent by Aus Post Pack & Track or insured airmail. If you specifically want registered post please note this in your order comments.

United Arab Emirates/Dubai customers - you MUST choose Express Courier International for your order otherwise it will be cancelled.

The full value of your order is stated on the customs declaration. We have NO control over any customs/duty/sales tax charges you may have to pay for your order when it enters your country, these are your responsibility and are not refundable by us.

(*) all overseas orders are subject to customs procedures within the country of purchase, this may affect the delivery time. Express Courier is NOT guaranteed.

There is NO change of mind for overseas (non-Australian) orders. If your order is returned due to not being collected or refused for non payment of taxes/duty it will be subject to a $35 or 10% of order value (which ever is greater) plus outbound shipping charge and re-stocking fees, or if you wish it to be resent you will need to pay for reposting (even if the original postage was included) - outside AU this will range $20-30 regardless of the initial postage cost, this amount must be paid before your order is re-shipped to you. We accept returns for orders within Australia and to the US and Europe, up to 60 days after receipt of your order.  Please contact us if you need to request a return. 

 

We pay for returns within Australia as long as the item is unused (remains sealed if provided sealed) and is returned to us in the condition we sent it, using our mailer (which we used to send you your order). In Australia we will provide you with a postage paid label you simply attach to our mailer and drop at your local post office. Outside Australia we will pay for economy shipping (media mail, second class post, etc) for returns to our US or UK offices - please contact us first for approval and to arrange.

 

Orders placed from the US can be returned to our US office, and orders placed from Europe can be returned to our UK office.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  We will not accept returned items that have been opened unless faulty.

 

Please do NOT use the returns option if you want a replacement - the returns system only allows for refunds once items are returned which means you will have to buy the item again if you are looking for a replacement.

 

We do NOT accept change of mind returns for any orders despatched outside Australia.

 

If you order is domestic (Australia) and is returned to us we will gladly resend this to you at our cost.

 

If your order is an overseas order returned due to not being collected it will be subject to a $35 or 10% of the order value (which ever is greater) plus the postage charged to send you your order - the "re-stocking fee". Or if you wish your order to be resent you will need to pay for the re-posting costs (even if the original postage was inclusive in the price). Please contact us in this instance.
